Avery Alexander

Avery is a physical therapist with expertise in management of acute care, neurologic, and orthopedic conditions. Avery is pursuing specialized training in vestibular rehabilitation throughout Duke University and becoming a board-certified neurological clinical specialist. She is passionate about collaborating with patients and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based and patient centered care to those with complex medical conditions. Avery enjoys treating diagnoses including concussions/traumatic brain injury, autonomic nervous system disorders, vestibular dysfunctions, stroke, and neurodegenerative diseases. In addition to her clinical practice, Avery serves as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association at the national and state level. Avery’s expertise is complimented by outreach and community involvement in various volunteer opportunities throughout our local communities.
